Bachman Lake
Paved hiking, bicycling, jogging trail following the shoreline of Bachmann lake
just north of Love Field. Excellent rollerblading. Paddleboats can be rented. Bachman Lake
Recreation Center at 2750 Bachman Lake has special programs for mentally and physically
challenged.

Good for rollerblading, bicycling, and hiking. Designated horseback riding area
at north end of park. The city of Plano has approximately 30 miles of paved trails
throughout the city and all are suitable for walking, rollerblading, and bicycling. This
is the only Plano park where horseback riding is permitted. Many trails in wooded area.
One trail is suitable for handicapped, including blind.

Cravens Park
About 80 acres of prairie land that is sparsely wooded. Paved trails, pavilion
that can be reserved, restrooms, basketball & volleyball courts, and two tennis
courts. Deck overlooking small pond. Cravens Park is probably the most barrier-free park
in Arlington.
From I-20, go south on Matlock. Nathan Lowe is staggered so pass Nathan Lowe on your right
(west) and drive one block further to SE corner of Nathan Lowe and Matlock.

Fantasy Landing @ Kiest Park
Able-bodied and disabled children play together. Bricks help visually impaired
children and many special features aid children in wheelchairs.

Fort Worth Nature Center
3500 acre wildlife refuge with whitetail deer and a small herd of buffalo. More
than 20 miles of hiking trails. Visitor's Center. Exhibits are free. Most programs have
fees and require advance registration. Part of center is a national natural landmark. Also
includes prairie dog town and picnic areas. Some trails are wheelchair accessible.
About two miles west of Lake Worth bridge off Highway 199.

Hurst Community Park
Natural area, open space, picnic area, pavilion and group shelter, concession,
restrooms, sand volleyball courts, playground on almost 45 acres. Bicycling and
rollerblading on 12 foot wide paved trail approximately 3 miles long.
