Renewable energy is the third important leg of your personal energy freedom. It is most certainly a means to an end and, in most situations, it should be your last step, after energy-efficiency and energy conservation.

Please take a second to think about this. It makes as much sense to rent your energy from a utility company as it does to rent your home or your automobile. Actually, owning your own sources of energy is much less expensive than buying a home and the product lasts longer with considerably less maintenance and depreciation than an automobile.

Please read the renewable energy Introduction page and Caution page  before reading the remainder of the site.
