Green Building in Dallas-Fort Worth The goal of a green builder should be to construct a high performance home or a building that is 1) Energy-Efficient; 2) Healthy; 3) Comfortable; 4) Affordable; 5) Durable; 6) Resource Responsible; 7) Sustainable. It should help you achieve your own personal energy freedom. Green Building is many things. It a science and it is a passion. Green Building allows people to be safe, comfortable, healthy and environmentally responsible in their own homes, schools, and/or work places. Unfortunately, green building in DFW is sometimes brown. Green Building is a complicated subject involving many different systems. This is a work in progress. We will cover a new aspect of green building often.
