Of Us All?

What is the purpose of green remodeling or green construction?

Building green is a thought process rather than a game to see how many green products one family can use to remodel their home. It has to be balanced with income, loans, budget, and general goals. 

Purposes include:

1. Restore some of world's ecosystems--as many as possible.

2. Save energy or use renewable energy.

3. Save money on ever-rising utility bills.

4. Make your home healthier for you and your family.

5. Make your home comfortable for less money.

6. Increase durability of home while using renewable resources.

7. Use products that are locally or regionally produced.

8. Use recycled materials.

Some green resources might cost more initially, but will benefit you over the years in comfort, financial savings, and/or health--actually acting as a great convenience and savings in the long run.

And then there is always this planet which benefits, too.
