New Start Veggie Garden The health queen of Dallas. Excellent buffet. All vegan--nternational in flavors. Make your own lettuce wraps. Vegan sushi and fresh spring rolls. Good choices for raw foods. Kalachandji's Menu rotates and features Indian dishes for American tastes so  food is not as spicy as some we have eaten. Homemade bread is pure American soul food. Excellent buffet at unbelievable prices. Patio offers a lovely, relaxing way to spend an afternoon or evening. Booths and tables surround fountain. Each booth is roofed, heated in winter, and cooled with fans in summer. Entire atmosphere is of peace and serenity. Some dairy, but you will find many vegan choices on their buffet. Cosmic Cafe Charming restaurant in interesting old Oak Lawn home with meals served in the living room or on patio. Many dishes are heavy with dairy (no eggs) but kitchen will work with you to remove dairy and limit fat. Eclectic   2912 Oak Lawn Av, Dallas. 214 521-6157 $-$$

Suma Veggie Cafe  The restaurant advertises no animal products, dairy, eggs, preservatives, food color, or msg. I enjoy this restaurant but am cognizant that some imported meats have milk, cheese, and dairy now so eat accordingly if you eat vegan.  Chinese 800 E. Arapaho, #120, Richardson. 972 889-8598  $

Veggie Garden This restaurant would not be my choice because of the lack of vegetables and the abundance of fake meats. Also, there has been much written (and proven) lately about milk, cheese and eggs in some imported veggie meats, so it appears to be a likelihood now in all fake meats.
