Veggie Garden This restaurant would not be my choice because of the lack of vegetables and the abundance of fake meats. Also, there has been much written (and proven) lately about milk, cheese and eggs in some imported veggie meats, so it appears to be a likelihood now in all fake meats. Chinese 510 W Arapaho, Richardson. 972 479-0888 $-$$ Udipi Cafe South Indian cuisine is all plant-based except for milk, yogurt. Indian SW corner of Beltline and Central at 35 Richardson Heights Village Richardson. 972 437-2858 $-$$ Madras Pavilion All plant-based except for milk, yogurt. South Indian cuisine. Buffet until 3:30; order from menu at dinner. Excellent service. Private room available for parties or events. Moderate amount of spice by request or you can crank up the heat. Indian 101 S. Coit at Beltline, #359, Richardson, 972 671-3672 $-$$ Gopal All plant-based except for milk-yogurt. Located inside Continental Inn Motel. Indian 758 S. Central Exp., Richardson. 972 437-0155 $-$$ There are other places to eat in Dallas where you can get some vegetarian foods. There will be restaurants featured each month here. Shop for vegetarian/organic foods here and enjoy small restaurants, too: Ann's Health Food Store Roy's Natural Market Whole Foods Market is serving more and more
meat and less and less veggie foods all the time in the deli but you can
still buy veggie items here.
