Maria's Cajun Beans and Rice Recipe.

One can black beans, 16 ounce.

One package Cajun rice & sauce mixture. I use Lipton Cajun Style only because it has no hydrogenated fat. Be careful to choose one with no hydrogenated fat.

3 T. tomatoes with green chiles.
Cook rice mixture according to directions on package.

When cooked, add beans, with liquid, and heat through.

Let stand until rice mixture thickens.

Serve in bowls with French bread or Bruschetta.
