Recipe Lentils and Green Chilies

| .5 cup peeled/split lentils 1.5 cups lentils 1 4,5 ounce can green chilies 1.5 T Italian seasoning 1 tsp salt |
Wash lentils; bring to boil with 2 cups water. Reduce
heat and simmer until lentils are softabout 45 minutes. Add green chilies, Italian seasoning and salt, simmer another five minutes. |
Hint: You do not need peeled/split lentils. They only serve to make a thick broth.
