You now have three choices for vegetarian eating
in the mid-suburban area--that area between Dallas and Fort Worth near DFW
Airport. That is a bakery, not a restaurant.
BreadHaus Organic and traditional hearth breads, no preservatives, and most without any animal products or fats. All are vegetarian. And wonderful bakery sweets! Try the absolutely sinful-and-delicious apple streusel which is made with organic grains. Bakery 700 W Dallas St, Grapevine 817 488-5223 $ Sher-e-Punjab, a new vegetarian restaurant, is open inside Subzi Mandi Market, 3445 N Beltline, Irving 75062, 972 870-1110. Chaat (a delicious snack bowl with ingredients of your choosing), stuffed naan, and sweets are the specialties. Spicy or not-so-spicy. Prices are amazingly low. Shop for vegetarian/organic food: Sunflower Shoppe--formerly Healthy Approach Market Whole Foods Market For those of you who are new to Dallas-Fort Worth area, Mid-Cities or mid-suburban area for DFW Vegetarian purposes is the communities of Arlington, Bedford, Cedar Hill, Colleyville, Coppell, Euless, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Highland Village, HEB, Hurst, Irving, Keller, Lewisville, Mansfield, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, and Southlake, although generally speaking Hurst-Euless-Bedford or HEB is also known as Mid-Cities. Dallas and Fort Worth are well connected by rail. You can board the train going east or west in Irving, south of DFW Airport in Euless area, Hurst, and Richland Hills.
