Sierra Club: Dallas, Fort Worth, or Denton/North Central Texas

There are three chapters serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and north Central Texas. They are:

1. Dallas Sierra Club which meets the second Wednesday of each month in Addison.

2. Fort Worth Sierra Club which meets the third Wednesday of each month in Fort Worth and the fourth Friday of the month in Arlington.

3. Cross Timbers Sierra Club which meets from time-to-time and maintains contact through an email list. 

Sierra Club has many environmentally-based  national campaigns. One campaign from the Sustainable Consumption Committee is sustainable food which includes the True Cost of Food. The Sustainable Food Campaign promotes plant-based food that is organic and locally grown when practical.
